Tip #691

The archive of the AASL webinar Powerful Partnerships: Libraries, Technology, and the Common Core is now available on the AASL website! AASL members Kathryn Lewis and David Loertscher lead an idea swap complementing the newly released action brief “Implementing the Common Core State Standards: The Role of the School Librarian.” Published by AASL and Achieve and written by Lewis and Loertscher, the brief links school libraries and librarians to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). www.ala.org/aasl/ecollab/achieve-ccss

The webinar is included as part of AASL eCOLLAB, a repository of AASL professional development. eCOLLAB contains webcasts, podcasts, and resources from various AASL professional development events. AASL members and subscribers can also view a read-only version of the latest issue of AASL’s print journal, Knowledge Quest.

While access to the Powerful Partnerships archive is complimentary, all other content on eCOLLAB is intended for AASL members and subscribers. To gain access to this valuable resource, you are invited to join AASL or subscribe to eCOLLAB.
