A report from the National Center for Literacy Education finds that teachers feel ill-prepared to help their students achieve the new Common Core literacy standards. It reports that most teachers have not had a voice in determining how standards are implemented in their schools. Positive changes are occurring most where teachers are actively involved in the renovation.
